In the trailers for the next Harry / Meghan Netflix , Harry talks about how Courtiers lied to protect William .
Hmmmm - what could he gave done that needed lies told to us ?

@EconomyClassRockstar I don't know where you are, but I also think that the British are not unusual in frowning upon people airing their dirty linen in public. The timing is particularly poor too. We are going through a huge cost of living crisis. Utility bills and 2.5 time higher than a year ago. Food is more expensive and Christmas is approaching. In terms of Maslow's hierarchy of needs their grievances really are petty and should have remained private.

I’m so pleased they’ve touched on the lying for William. I do believe the affairs and pegging are an issue for him and Kate. They obviously have an arrangement that works for them. But they allowed Meghan and Harry to take the media hit when that was going on. That is not on. Harry stopped respecting his brother when he found out about the affairs/ set up. Really cannot blame him.

Thing is, if W had an affair or not doesn’t really matter. It’s between him and Kate. It’s NOT Harry’s secret to share.

If there was an affair - since they are still very much together and presenting as a happily married couple - then Kate has clearly made her choice and they have moved on from it. That’s her choice to make and is nobodies business except hers and Williams.

If there wasn’t an affair - a re-hashing of all the speculation will do nothing but cause distress.

Either way, like I said, it’s NOT Harry’s story to tell. He should stick to telling HIS ‘truth’ and stop crossing into other people’s lives.

He is doing the very thing he’s been protesting about, he’s no better than the tabloids at this point - saying just enough ‘nudge nudge wink wink’ but not enough to get him in trouble with the lawyers.

Regardless of the affair being true or not - What will this do other than create masses of media speculation around his brothers family? - a brother he was once so close to, and a SIL he was said was like a sister, and their young children). It will cause them deep emotional distress (their MH apparently is not important to Harry, only Harry’s MH is important to Harry - and for what? Why?

Why would you set out to deliberately try and destroy or harm people you supposedly love?

Yes, it’ll be something innocuous and his point will be that it’s not the lie about Wills that’s important, it’s that the palace was willing to hang Harry out to dry and never lie for him. The trailer beefs it up and the episodes won’t deliver: just like volume 1. Netflix have done them like a kipper.

It's not the lie that's important. It's the fact the institution can and has shut down stories to protect members of the Royal Family. But they refused to do anything to protect either Harry or Meghan either by shutting things down or by telling the truth. Despite Meghan receiving death threats.
Harry - not unreasonably - has a huge fear and mistrust of the media. Whether he's right to or not is irrelevant. The institution refused to protect him or his family in any way. This was before they left. Of course he's angry! Of course he is hurt.
And by the institution I don't think he is talking about individual members of the Royal Family but those around them who are the ones in control of the narrative.

All this speculation is fascinating. All we really know is that at some point harry had a big falling out with his bother over something and at another point he felt like he could not continue as a working royal. We also know what he and Megan have said about poor mental health and experiencing abuse from the British press. I have no idea what's gone on because I'm not in the family, but affairs, Fallings out, lies, deceit, bad behaviour happen in families across the country. If he wasn't a royal then most of mumsnet would be telling him to go no contact and that he doesn't owe anything to toxic relatives. I say good luck to them.

It's not their house they used a friends who confirmed it last week. A friend incidentally who has been investigated for stealing millions and millions of dollars from a charity for disabled veterans. Like everything else they do it's not as it seems, they didn't even use their own house 😂

I'm grey now but was the opposite to you, I could dye my hair anything or get a hairdresser to do it and in days it was bright red again. Same with it going grey, hair that has no red in it turns red if I put a dye on it. It is very weird.

Just because cheating is a Windsor family tradition doesn't make it okay. Wills has more invested in the family man image than his father or grandfather. He knows it would be damaging.

I thought it was the done thing that royal men fucked anything they fancied getting their hands on. Why anybody thinks this no longer happens is beyond me. they are rich, privileged, untouchable men, of course they are going to stick their dick into anything they can get away with, or at least anything they think they can cover up. It’s probably that. Harry is a prick for thinking we don’t know this, and anyone who is shocked by it is a naïve fool.

I think that was a rented house for the filming, not their actual house; and yes that part of California looks beautiful.
