Realistically, if the Mail or whoever, had a solid story about an affair, they’re going to publish it. All this conspiracy stuff about the media suppressing stories under pressure from the royal family doesn’t add up. They’ve published plenty of negative stories about Charles, carrier bags of cash, tampongate etc. Why would William be protected in a way that Charles isn’t?

Loads of stuff. It’s not exactly unknown for the newspapers to be given another story if they don’t run what they have. William and Harry had the same set of friends and hung around together yet the stories were Harry taking drugs, Harry’s wild nights. Protect the heir at all costs.

It’s fairly commonplace. I’ve heard of it with record label and tv shows and recently the talent agency that represents lots of ITV stars - the papers have a damaging story, to get them not to print it they are offered another story, or an exclusive interview (in the star’s own words), or maybe they are threatened with losing access to all acts if they run it. It’s a nonsense to suggest the Royals and the media don’t have a similar symbiotic relationship.

I honestly don’t believe this is true.

They may negotiate with releasing photos etc, like ‘there’s something bad coming out about Andrew, Kate would you snap a few cute pics of the kids on the beach and release them?’

But to deliberately expose Harry to damning negative press, such as drug use and dressing as a Nazi? It makes no sense, Harry is also a close member of the royal family, what harms him harms them all.

It just seems ridiculous.

Not to mention that he is also Charles son, and the late Queens much loved grandson. I cannot comprehend that they would have allowed negative stories about Harry to be published if they could have avoided it.

There is also the story about Harry and Meghans trip to the Bahamas (?) for Harry’s friends wedding, apparently Meghan sent her pet paps (Backgrid) to take photos of them, so that going public would force Harry’s hand to acknowledge the seriousness of their relationship. The paps managed to get photos and recordings of Meghan giving Harry a bj on the balcony. Harry went to Wills and Charles for help and both W and C ensured through threats of legal action that those pics would never see the light of day. The palace HAS protected them. How else did so much of Meghan’s past get scrubbed from the internet?

She was upset because the tabloids spent years pushing the ‘angry black woman makes white woman cry’ trope (the press didn’t publish the story once, they mentioned it multiple times) and the Kensington Palace press office did nothing to stop them despite knowing it was the other way around.

Kate was happy to apologise with flowers, so she accepted being at least partially responsible. It should have been a minor tiff between SIL at a stressful time but the press wouldn’t let it go and KP press office refused to tell the truth.

William and Kate are H & Meg’s direct rivals. They NEED William and Kate to look bad to big up their status in the US. So they can usurp them as figureheads of the RF. That was evident in the bad reception they got in the US with the mockumentary clips strategically timed to be shown at the same.

H will never have the status of King and people will get bored of him over there soon enough as the entitled, hypocritical non entity he is so he needs to make his mark hard to keep the dosh rolling to finance the mega star lifestyle they both believe they deserve.

The affair rumours were admittedly not true. I doubt H will spell out what he means. Its just to keep people guessing and hint at something bad.

William does not strike me at all as an adulterer. I read a few Blinds purportedly about H years ago which would make your hair stand on end!

It is boggling how people are taken in by this nasty, narcissistic pair of grifters. How can you not see through the fake emotions, facial expressions and outright lies? Bad luck to their families that they teamed up, it’s like a tag team of narkery!

I imagine William knew what H was like and sussed out Meg early on (there were rumours of sneaky pics of one of the children being taken on their first meeting), and that’s why he tried to get H to slow down manifesting full on narc rage, and years of pent up jealousy probably, with both barrels! Not only about H being the ‘Spare’ in terms of line of title. William was very close to Diana wasn’t he? I remember reading somewhere that she leant on him emotionally a lot and it was Diana who publicly referred to H as the spare. If she said that in public, probably said it in private too. He teams up with someone allegedly obsessed by Diana and bingo!

I never got the sense H was the ‘cheeky chappie’ portrayed in the press and I think more had been covered up about him than William who seems to be a genuinely nice guy.

I’ve never been bothered about the RF at all until all this all started and find it so interesting from a psychological POV. Very interested to see how the RF continue to deal with it too. They can’t keep silent as they’ll never stop, it’s the only way they can make their money. Meg successfully painted her own family (even her father) as complete trash for her own ends, to do the same with the most respected RF in the world will be a massive jewel in her crown!
