Not sure this puts DC in a more vulnerable or a stronger position.
He is 10 now and was severely infected with iGAS when he was 3. I don't want to go into details about his illness but it was traumatic for me. I don't think he remembers much about it thankfully.
I am feeling panicky. Intravenous antibiotics worked last time but he was in hospital for a long time and it wasn't definite that he would recover.
Am I justified in feeling anxious?
