Active dating profile!

I am so annoyed and confused!

My BF of 1 year has shown me a screenshot of a dating profile of mine that has been active in the last 24 hours!

It's on match which I haven't used in over 18 months - maybe much longer than that

What the actual f*ck - I have messaged match for an explanation

Anyone seen this before?

You've probably been hacked, you should change the passwords on other accounts you have.

Any particular reason he was looking at your dating profile?

I was going to ask why would after 18 months still have a profile attracting attention... doesn't say much about the seriousness of this relationship.

But I paid for an account a good while before we met. Never really bothered with this account, let the subscription run out and forgot about it. App was deleted just hadn't deleted the account

There has never been a question so far and I can completely guarantee that hasn't been an active profile

I didn't though, genuinely hadn't thought about this account in a long time.

I have messaged match to understand why it was showing as active 24 hours ago

I have loads of emails in my junk now I've checked but I understand that as I had a profile. But I just don't understand how the profile says I was logged in 24 hours ago when I haven't been near it in at least 18 months

How ironic that 'Match' maybe be 'un' Matching people due to faulty algorithms. Thought they relied on all these happy marriages promoted on their pages to show what a great (shite) site they are! Hope you get to the bottom of it OP
