ISLA BIKES Help needed!!!

Hi so we are wanting to get recently turned 5 year old a Isla bike for Christmas. Of course, we are looking second hand due to the price.
I understand there are different sizes.
So according to the sizing guide on Islabike website it reads the cnoc 16 minimum leg size is 43cm which goes up to 56cm.

And the cnoc 20 minimum leg size is 47cm to a max of 57cm.

Measured my 5 year old and her inside leg is 46.5cm.
Confused whether to go for the cnoc 16 or cnoc 20? Anyone have any ideas? Obviously, as we are buying second hand which also costs a bomb we want to make sure she has it for awhile. Would her measurements be ok for a cnoc 20?

I would get the bigger one, even if it is a touch too big right now it is winter so by the time the warm weather comes she'll have grown.

Can she already ride a bike? If she's not that confident, perhaps the smaller one might be better for now even though she won't have it for as long. I can't remember if the Cnoc 20 has gears or not, which might be something else to consider.

You can email IslaBikes and ask, I've always found them helpful. My tall 6 year old is on a Beinn 20.

I'd do the Cnoc 16 as she will still have plenty of growing in that, and it is much better to be properly in the height range than not quite fitting. The great news with Isla bikes is that the resale value is so good you will effectively just swap bikes as she grows. I think after the first bike we spent £50 on bikes for ds from age 4 to 13 when he was on an adult bike, and that included wanting two sets of wheels for off road and on road when he'd got to that stage, and selling his bikes never took more than a day

Cnoc 16 imho

how confident a rider? if already totally happy pedalling i'd go for the 20 but if at all wobbly go with the 16.
BUT we went to a beinn 20 not a cnoc as the beinn has gears and we're in a hilly area.
