AIBU to think it’s about time

The BBC are reporting women are getting angrier . It’s about time IMO. We just aren’t being heard. Where were the footballers kicking off because they couldn’t wear an armband in support of womens rights in Qatar.

Women are expected to do everything, work FT, do the majority of the housework, childcare etc in the vast majority of cases.

violence against women the world over is not being tackled as a priority

We have seen the so called leader of the free world say women do not have autonomy over their own bodies.

Womens safe spaces are being invaded by male bodies (and apparently pointing out that a women might not feel comfortable stripping next to a person with a man’s body is bigoted thereby removing the ability of a woman to express feelings around dignity and safety)

womens healthcare especially around birth is appaling with 45% women experiencing traumatic childbirth and 4-6% developing PTSD as a result, yet are repeatedly told to just be happy… again taking womens voices away. Worldwide death in childbirth is still fairly common.

AIBU to think women should be getting angry about all these issues and many more.

is it about time we were incited to rebellion again before it’s too late?

Perfectly reasonable.

I read the headline and thought "really? We're just getting started".

Interesting to see someone thinks it’s unreasonable for women to be angry about being treated like shit! Presumably flogging and stoning raped women is ok?
