Anxiety Help

Posting here for traffic, in the next few months, I have a big change (relocation) happening, I want this, and I am looking forward to it. But it is a big change

However, I am suffering what I think is massive anxiety, my heart is racing, I am very shaky and I am not sleeping well.

We have a very busy three months ahead, I have a list and it is doable.

The only other time I can liken my feeling to is after the birth of my first DS, I was also very anxious then (but this was 30 odd years ago).

AIBU to ask for you self help and over counter medication ideas?

I can't be like this for the next three months, I am already exhausted after a week.

TIA

Propranolol is your best mate here.

Explain what you've said here to your GP and mention it by name. They should prescribe it, it's not a controlled drug.

Thank you, I am also on the verge of tears, for no reason whatsoever! Maybe a GP appointment is needed.

I am not sure how I enabled voting and clearly don't need it. 🙄

I've just started on propranolol for panic attacks and anxiety. It hasn't made much difference to me yet but it's early days.
I wish I had more advice but I'm a fellow anxiety sufferer so posting for ideas mainly!
I have recently been listening to the Dare Approach audio book which has some strategies for handling anxiety. Again, early days but they do seem helpful. Good luck.

I'm late 50s, I think I have been through the menopause, but maybe it's a bit of that as well.
