Nearly 6 weeks ago I ordered some coats and a couple of sale accessories from a well known highstreet retailer (not one in administration). They were ordered on next day delivery. Total bill £250ish. The intention was to try them on and return what I didn't like.

They never turned up. I contacted the retailer after 10 days expecting them to chase the delivery company. Instead they classed it as missing and redispatched the whole order. It turned up fine. In the meantime I found a coat that was cheaper I liked more in a shop and returned the original order for a refund. This was a few weeks ago now.

You can probably guess what happened. On Friday the original order turned up. Box a bit battered but the contents still there.

So what do I do? I was worried they may try and charge me for it. But the card I used the account is actually now closed, as i've coincidently changed bank accounts. I've had no contact from the company about the delivery (yet). Just from delivery conpany.

Things like this never happen to me. So do I keep it or return it?

YABU - return it and be a good honest citizen.
YANBU - have a few extra coats or sell them on vinted.

This happened to me once.

The company just said to keep the first order. It was more hassle than it was worth for them to take it back.
