I'm so angry right now.
I'm at our gym with my kids. Took them into the mixed children's toilet before their class. DS (5) was in one cubicle while I was in the other helping DD (3).
I heard DS finish and go wash his hands and another child enter. I heard slamming of toilet seats in the other cubicle. DD told them to stop doing it assuming it was her brother.
Heard DS say to the other child 'don't do that, it's dangerous'.
When we came out other child wasn't there.
DS told me that the other child was a boy who'd put the loo seats down so he could stand on them and was peering over the cubicle to watch DD go to the loo!
I was watching her / wiping her bum so hadn't noticed we were being watched.
I asked DS to describe the other boy and point him out if he could see him as I needed to speak to his parents. DS couldn't see him but possible this boy had gone into the family changing room next door.
DS told the coach at his class about it and described the boy to the coach.
Is that enough? Is it a safeguarding issue as it was a child? Should I talk to the gym manager? I like this coach and I imagine he will pass it on if needed.
I can't believe it though! So cross. In many ways it's good we couldn't find his parents.
