Secret Santa stress

Unglamorousgranny · 01/12/2022 22:12

I've picked our female FD for Secret Santa. The remit is the funnier the better. She's not too straight laced, but how rude, it at all, can you go? If it had been a female colleague on my level I'd have gone with the willy hoopla you can get from Anne Sumners, but the FD? I'm just not sure.
There's loads of mugs but don't want to get one of those. Don't really know her likes & dislikes.
Any ideas please?
Thank you

What’s a FD?

BrieAndChilli · 01/12/2022 22:14

Look on crap-presents.com

WarrickDavisAsPlates · 01/12/2022 22:16

Fd= financial director?

If she's very senior to you I'm not sure you can go risqué at all. But it probably massively depends on the person, as long as its not disrespectful I guess you could go with something more cheese funny.

What sort of thing does she like?

Beautifulsunflowers · 01/12/2022 22:17

this with a little cake!

declutteringmymind · 01/12/2022 22:18

I'd go cheesy funny. The singing cactus maybe? I'd stay away from anything personal as you don't know her and you might offend her. And she's in charge of the wages lol.

LadyMaid · 01/12/2022 22:18

Kitchen sponges.
Wrapped in the fanciest wrapping paper you can find.

Amusing, but inoffensive.

WishingWell5 · 01/12/2022 22:20

I once got a really nice edition of karma sutra for SS - I love books so thought that was pretty cool!

TheLadyOfHay · 01/12/2022 22:23

If a FD is finance director find a novelty piggy bank and put chocolate coins in it. As said by a pp she pays your wages so don’t annoy her too much

glovepillow22 · 01/12/2022 22:24

I once got a really nice bottle of booze but it was inside a gift bag that said "theres a massive dildo in here". Nice gift but with funny, not too offensive, presentation 😁

Doidontimmm · 01/12/2022 22:24

Love the piggy bank idea!

OrigamiOwls · 01/12/2022 22:32

I wouldn't go rude at all. I like the piggy bank idea.

Fluffygoon · 01/12/2022 22:44

Piggy bank sounds good - excel spreadsheet mugs worth looking at:

user1471447924 · 01/12/2022 22:45

Haha so do I! It’s funny and cute and completely inoffensive!

Unglamorousgranny · 02/12/2022 01:49

Thank you all for your replies. I like the piggy bank one & the rude gift back. She'd probably laugh at the willy hoopla that I suggested but I don't feel right. I don't know what she likes doing buy I think work is her hobby. I know she doesn't do any cooking. Yes FD = Finance director

Pencil set with rude sayings inscribed won't be too offensive

I also once did a SS where I collected paint sample cards (50 shades of grey paint) and put it in an envelope with warning labels all over - 18+, adult content etc. The recipient was dreading opening it but it was of course totally harmless
