Hi

just looking for opinions As unsure what to do. For about a year I have been suffering with a bad stomach made worse when eating certain foods but my stools are never solid and I have the most awful cramps. However I’m on my third bout of vomiting in the last two months and I just feel awful. I also get pains in what I said say is where my left ovaries are. I’m also permanently exhausted. What could this be and would you visit a gp?

Definitely go to gp as soon as possible. Could be a whole number of things that could easily be treated. Write down all your symptoms and how long you’ve had them and please don’t feel embarrassed. I hope you get some answers and feel better soon.

Yes definitely, go. Could be a sign of all sorts of things.

Ineedsleepandcoffee · 30/11/2022 22:55

Yes go to gp

Sisisimone · 30/11/2022 22:55

Of course. Can't believe you have to ask!!

justasking111 · 30/11/2022 22:56

Absolutely see the GP

gemloving · 30/11/2022 22:57

Please see your GP. First of all bloods need to be taken as exhaustion can come from low iron etc then probably ultrasounds to see if there is anything that's causing cramps etc

Do you follow a plant based healthy diet as it's normal to have loose stools tif you do.

Coeliac disease?

Nutsabouttopic · 30/11/2022 23:00

Yes make an appointment. I had those symptoms in the early stages of gallbladder problems. It could be many issues though so better to get checked out before it becomes a major problem

Newwardrobe · 30/11/2022 23:04

Why wouldn't you go?

BunnyMum2000 · 30/11/2022 23:06

Yes. Could be coeliac disease (I had similar symptoms)

GoingtotheWinchester · 30/11/2022 23:07

I was thinking coeliac - phone tomorrow. You’re suffering unnecessarily 😢.

Luredbyapomegranate · 30/11/2022 23:08

ASAP yes

It’s very important changes in bowel habits are investigated. They will take a stool sample in the first place, and refer or do further tests from there.
