How long until I see/ feel WeightLoss

Not sure if I am being unreasonable or just impatient and expecting miracles but over the last 2 months I have been trying so hard on my weight loss journey, eating no more than 1500 calories a day exercising most day either walk, run 5k min or a gym class. The scales are positive and I've lost about 1 stone ( I was 13 I'm now 11at 11) however whenever I catch my reflection or see myself I truly can't see any difference and it gets me down because I don't know what more I can do :( looking for any advice, how long should/ does it take to see these results?

Do your clothes not feel different though?

I think so, I tend to wear stretchy leggings and hoody so it is hard to really judge I just think I may of been expecting too much in such a short time.. it's easy to put the weight on tho if I had eaten chocolate for those 2 months I would of ballooned and definitely seen/ felt it!

How tall are you? How are you feeling day to day? I know what you mean but you've made excellent progress!! It's really a lifestyle change because ideally you should be feeling better all round. Don't feel too disgruntled that you don't appear to be changing and remember you see/feel yourself every day so you won't necessarily see anything very drastic as it's a process. Do you have a target?

Over the last year I have lost 5.5 stones. I am only just beginning to see myself as slimmer. Other people could see it but I couldn't. It takes time to adjust. Take a lot of photos to compare over the weeks. That's the only way I could eventually see it rather than just know it iyswim.

Thank you, that makes a lot of sense, I'm 5ft 10 so was classed as overweight on the BMI chart so that kicked me into doing something about it.

I will just have to keep going and I guess at some point it will pay off, I would like to be between 10.7- 11 stone so still a bit off.

That's amazing - well done! You must be so proud! Did other people notice but you just couldn't see it? I will definitely start taking more pictures that's a great idea.
