To cut a very long story short o bought an energiser for £280 via a discount voucher from a store that sells horse/agricultural supplies. They have a good reputation and I've used them a lot. I decided in the sale to have another look as need another and was surprised to find the price £268 with free shipping. The usual price for the energiser is £309 with free shipping. So on Friday I went to buy and discovered the blacksale still live but energiser was £405 now but still advertised as in the sale.
I messaged them and they said that price was just for one day (not true) and they had adjusted the piece to £340 saying previous price £405. The gist of it being they were now calling their mistake of £405 the previous price. So it was £309 pre sale, then £268 for a few day, then £405 and now £340. They've been very polite bit said I can find it cheaper they'll price match.
So I am in a pissy mood but this had aggravated me. If I'm being unreasonable then fair enough and I'll get over it but I just thought I'd check and see what the general consensus is. Many thanks it's quite a boring top to read!
