So having a nice chilled morning, DH taken daughter to work , I've had a bath and was just tidying the kitchen and DH comes in chatting away and cleans his walking boots. Puts the clean but wet walking boot on the arm of the sofa. I did shriek out "don't put that on there!" And he's massively kicked off, banging things around saying I am out of order, it was only there for a minute, he was in a good mood before that , he would never pull me up like that etc etc . I'm upset now feeling I've ruined the day.
I can't help thinking it (stupid place to put wet boot) but should I have counted to 10 or not said it?
