Attracted to line manager

What to do.... not practically, she's married and straight. But I have that kind of excited, embarrassed feeling when I speak to her. Under no allusion at all that anything could ever happen but it just feels awkward. Anyone experienced this and know how to deal with it?

I have known quite a few colleagues over the years who have entered into relationships with their managers and sometimes one or both parties have already been in relationships.

I personally wouldn't try and take it any further, especially if there has been no indication of anything romantic from her side.

If you're not taking it any further, you should just ignore your feelings and remain professional.

Completely! Not even looking for a relationship or anything really. But it's so excruciatingly awkward. I hope it doesn't show. I'd love it to go away.
