Most people I know can cook well...tbh, apart from my own food, I eat my sisters food... and they can both cook.

We can't go out for dinner with my mum, because she can cook everything on the menu better than a restaurant chef.

The really sad thing is that it's true.

We never really had family meals growing up because she was so busy and stressed cooking amazing, and yes, really amazing food.

So I'm glad to serve up a homemade one pot paella etc and actually have a relationship with my children.

I cooked quorn dinosaurs, chips, and mixed veg for tea tonight. It was delish. Oven chips as well because I had no potatoes in. And frozen veg out of a big bag. Om nom nom.

Well - I think it is probably true that a lot of people can’t really cook very well.

My worst nightmare would be to come home from work each night to a plate of Michelin star quality dinner. I wouldn't enjoy it and I'd be hungry again after an hour.
I also wouldn't like to eat a frozen ready meal for tea either.

Give me home cooked comfort food any day and I'll be happy... chilli con carne, toad in the hole, chicken curry, Spag Bol, Cheese and Onion pie etc.
Wouldn't say I'm a foodie or even a good cook but I think I can cook hearty meals that cater for my own families taste buds and also fill them up.

I would define you as a horrible cook who produces inedible muck if you use any number of common everyday ingredients that I personally don't like.

Doesn't mean it's true that the majority would agree though, because it's all down to personal taste.
