To wonder about this

My friend keeps moaning to me about her daughters grandparents and other family not making an effort to see the child. She is constantly messaging them slagging them off and causing drama, the dad has nothing to with with her either. I know it’s a sad situation for the child but surely you can’t be surprised if the family aren’t involved when she knew she was on her own anyway?

What do you mean when she new she was on her own anyway?

She knew that dad didn’t want the child and figured she would be doing it alone anyway. If it was me I think I would just be like fuck you all.

To be fair even if the dad isn’t involved, it’s really shit that his family don’t want to be involved either. She may not be ‘surprised’ but that doesn’t make it easier to deal with.

So this is her fault because she parents alone as the childs father is a waster?

She knew he was a waster before she slept with him. I’m not saying it is fair, I just think she needs to drop these expectations to feel less angry.
