RANT RANT RANT, 13YO GIRLS, RANT RANT RANT, 11YO GIRLS RANT RANT RANT, ALL THE KIDDIES, RANT RANT RANT, BOYS, RANT, HUSBANDS, RANT

well, that isn't any better yet, I am still ranty!!!!!!!!!!!

grrrrrrrrrrr

why why why do 13yo girls think that just cos they are the eldest, that she is not a child anymore and should therefore be able to eat with mum, dad, guest, listen to our conversation and interupt regularly EVEN WHEN WE TELL HER TO PLEASE GO AWAY, and then jokingly swear at her dad (by holding up her three middle fingers and telling him to 'read between the lines'), and then act all hurt and offended when we tell her off (and that was aftert the guest and other kiddies had gone to bed so not as if we ranted and raved horribly as we waited till a 'fairly' calm moment!).

AND THEN THE 11YO..........ranted about her bedroom last week, she came home from scouts and emptied the bag, but since then she is back to her normal 'swapped and cloned by aliens' self!!

and the 9yo girl gets in on it, and then the boys start hitting and unching and generally ebing PITAS, and then DH.................

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

there, feeling ever so slightly Better

phew........and breathe..............

Sorry but LOL at "read between the lines"
MInd you I think you did very well to not to rant at her in front of company.

Psychomum5 · 31/01/2008 09:19

well, I was shocked as I had never heard it before (why is that teens are so quick to make up new things), and I was extremely close, I have to say, to having to go be cross in a different room as it seemed so original, but then, it was disrespectful, espesially in company which is why DH and I were so cross properly!

I think tho, had we not been so shocked at the sheer audacity (sp?) of it, we would probably have said something there and then!!!

and there was me thinking only toddlers could be original and funny.......teens are so much more so!

Oh it was definately worthy of a right rollickin'

She was obviously feeling very grown up and I suspect it was more "showing off" than anything.

Psychomum5 · 31/01/2008 09:58

oh definately showing off!

hey ho, she's at school right now so lots calmer
