No endodontist NHS

So I've been advised that I can't get endodontics treatment under NHS. I've asked a couple of dentist. You need specialist dentists with microscopes most dental clinics don't have them and if they do provide that treatment for molars without microscope they won't be able to do a good job.

Is that really so and no chance to get it via NHS?

As a SAHP that is a big amount for me that I would need to borrow

molar endodontics IS available on the NHS, however some teeth do require a specialist due to curvature of the roots, length of the roots, size and shape of canals etc etc.

it is also true that a much better job would be achieved by a specialist

You could ask to be referred to a dental treating hospital. I don't know if they still offer it, but they used to do expensive treatments at reduced prices because the work would be carried out by supervised trainees.
