Lazy reporting at the BBC today

This gem just popped up on BBC online today, in an article about MPs Xmas cards

Apparently they have not yet got the memo that Liz truss is not pm anymore 🙄

Theresa May is not PM either and that appears to be her Christmas card, not Liz Truss’s. Are you sure you haven’t misunderstood that part of the article?

That refers to Corbyn and May, is it not an old article?

It says Happy & Peaceful 2018 on the card.

Truss’ is an MP for SW Norfolk, that’s quite some way from Maidenhead!

Good sleuthing. It popped up on my feed as though it were a new article, I should have read the publication date, would not have expected the article to be 4 years old. The BBCs reporting is exonerated, but the BBC app appears to be quite misleading
