Go for it, one of my friends became pregnant again when her firstborn was just 3 months, she loves having two children just a year apart.

I know how you feel. I felt the same after ds2 born and still do. Hes almost 19wks now. I didnt intend on actually doing it that soon though, just thinking ahead!

We have decided to wait though until end of yr when he will be well over one.I know im gonna do it so it gives me that to look forward to.

I also want a time beforehand when i can enjoy certain things for a few mths. Few nights out maybe and enjoying a proper drink when the summer is here. Last yr i couldnt take advantage of All Inclusive holiday abroad! And just feeling normal for the rest of the year really.

I cried after having ds2 also, cos previously i was adamant it was the last. Cried and asked dp is he 'minded' me having another and he said no, not if thats what i wanted, so its decided!

I would say you are mad, but then i have just had dd2 (21wks) and realy not enjoying it . We started ttc no2 when dd1 was 10mths and it took us nearly 3yrs to get pg and have dd2.

DD1 was such a good baby eat and slept for 4hours, but didn't go through the night until nearly 2yrs.

DD2(21wks and is 15lb 10oz birth weight 9lb 2oz) hates being fed still only haves a 4 - 5oz bottle every 4hrs, with me forcing her to eat . But has a feed between 10.30pm and 11pm then sleeps through until 6.30am.

But on the other hand i can see a light at the end of the tunnel and once she is weaned and able to get around her and dd1 will be great freinds .

This is great - I thought I was weird.

I always hated babies and children, and DS (6m, unplanned!) has been the baby from hell (apparently - I don't know what the norm is but general consensus from friends and relatives is that he's Not Like Other Babies) but in the last month he's settled a lot and I am broody, for the first time in my life, love him so much and want MORE MORE MORE.

Shame I start back at work on Monday

However, DP has reneged on his longheld desire to be a SAHD so he said if I can make the finances work I can be a SAHM if I want therefore to my mind I may as well be a pregnant SAHM ... [wild cackle] ... MORE BABIES MORE MORE MORE MORE ...

soopermum1 · 31/01/2008 12:17

YANBU, but i deffo couldn't do it. DS is now 4 and i still get shivers thinking about the boredom of pregnancy, the pain of birth and the lack of sleep of a newborn.

IAteRoseMaryConleyForBreakfast · 31/01/2008 12:17

Meant to say - DO IT!

hehehe well dp has said we can have another one. he said (and I quote)
"was it 3, or 4 that you wanted?" lol
I haven't specified how soon I want it though.
perhaps i'll give it a month or 2 to see how we go lol

megglevache- i am considering getting one of those big tricycles with a basket on the front you can put your kids in.
I will be the crazy lady who cycles around with her 15 kids in a basket on her bike. haha
