Who is being unreasonable

Person a and person b got talking about all sorts of different topics. A convo started about the killing of George Floyd.

now both parties were expressing there anger towards the officer but then person B said “but he was on drugs and being aggressive so he didn’t help himself “ but still insisted how bad the police was… but person A took offence to this and it started a heated “discussion” with non changing there

who is being unreasonable ?

Regardless of how we acted when arrested he didn’t deserve to die by having his windpipe crushed under a police officer’s knee, so it’s a moot point really.

LBFseBrom · 19/11/2022 23:48

I didn't know George Floyd was on drugs at the time.

SnarkyBag · 19/11/2022 23:49

Person b is an idiot

Josette77 · 19/11/2022 23:51

He was not on drugs...

lking679 · 19/11/2022 23:53

I’m sure half the people arrested are being aggressive and the police are trained to deal with it… not suffocate someone to death on the street whilst arresting them.
might have been an innocent and ignorant enough comment but can see why someone might find it unreasonable.

Person B is factually incorrect. And even if they weren't, simply "being on drugs" should not be a death sentence. Person B needs to take a deep look at themselves.

He was not on drugs...

Erm yes he was! Fentanyl!

PeekabooAtTheZoo · 20/11/2022 00:10

He had a right to life regardless of anything else.
Being on drugs isn't a capital offence in America.
Crushing the life out of someone isn't a proportionate, reasonable or sane response to any crime. The justice system exists for a reason.
So B is being ridiculous. But A should probably discuss it with someone who will listen because it doesn't sound like B is good at critical thinking.

He was not on drugs...

Yes he was

Still doesn't mean he should have been murdered
