9 day old yoghurt

Just accidentally ate yoghurt that went out of date on the 9th November. Didn't even notice the date on it. Didn't taste bad, but was a bit watery.... I'm going on a weekend away this week....anyone think I'll get food poisoning from this? Might seem a stupid question but I'm panicking!!

I doubt it - if it'd be really off you'd have tasted it/noticed the mould.

Nah I do that all the time, you would have smelt it it was off. I sometimes scrape mould off yoghurt and still eat it…

Usually if it’s off the lid is domed or the yoghurt is fizzy so you should be fine.

It’ll be fine, so long as it looked, smelled and tasted ok, which I assume it did if you ate it.

I only don't eat yoghurt if it's mouldy or 'fizzy'. You'll be absolutely fine.

They keep for months. I have just eaten a pack of those bio ones with a prune layer that were 6 months out of date. Perfectly fine.

Yoghurt is a means of preserving milk, originating in the Middle East. You'll be fine.

I've eaten them months out of date and they were fine. It's very obvious if they are off.

I’m currently working my way through a huge tub of Greek yoghurt (Lidl in case anyone is interested, their Greek yoghurt is amazing!) for breakfast every day - the expiry date was 31st October.

I eat them over a month out of date. I realised my milk was a week over. It still smelt and tasted fine.

Repeating what others have said, if it tasted/smelt fine you'll be ok :) I thunk the worse that could happen is you may have the runs for a day but that's unlikely.
