Sorry im being stupid but clueless about this!!

I'm looking after someone's house and there's no power...one of the fuse switches is down but I can't get it to stay up again- anyone know what I can do??

Try and find the thing that’s annoying it. Is it labelled?

Are the switches labelled, can you tell which room/floor is trippping the electrics?

If you can tell for example that it's the kitchen then I'd go round the kitchen unplugging each appliance then trying the switch again to identify if it's the washing machine or the fridge or...whatever.

If it's not an appliance then there's a problem with something in the wiring. You'll need to let the home owner know and get an electrician out.

Can you post a photo. Which fuse switch is down.

Thank you!!

Went round turning everything off and got it back up again - now to turn things on and see what switch is broken!
