What colours are your Christmas nails going to be?

If you’re getting them! I have just done a nail tech course and hoping to earn a little bit extra this Christmas and beyond and I’m wondering what colours to buy. I’ve got a shimmery red and a glittery green. I’m looking at a silver and a gold glitter too. Any others you are tempted by that I could buy to get people tempted to get their nails done this Christmas.

I feel your pain. I’m a retired nurse but have been working at a vaccine centre for the past two years so natural nails only. Mind you, I did cheat. As my unadorned nails are so weak I still had gels but using a very pale colour so it hardly noticed. Our vaccine programmes have now finished (until a new booster programme is announced) so I’m terribly excited at the prospect of having brightly coloured nails for Christmas.

I had these 2 weeks ago. I don’t like Christmas nails on in January so I have them in the run up instead

I’ve just done my nails in a silver/gold glitter gel Polish. It’s an un-usual colour as it changes depending on the light. It will do nicely for my Xmas party in a couple of weeks!

Sympathy @Spirini did you manage to salvage it?

The nicest ones I have ever had where a really sparkly midnight blue with a snowflake painted on my thumbnail and ring fingers.

Does anyone use the gel bottle?

I have gone for a sparkly green that I think the salon said was called Elf. I love them, they cheer me up on a rainy morning

I'm getting them done again a few days before Christmas, I am really tempted by the silver glittery someone posted upthread.

I only get my nails done with The Gel Bottle. Seems to last longer especially with builder in a bottle underneath. When I've not gone for a colour the Teddy shade is a go to!

That’s good to know. I think I’m going to get some of their polishes but they are so expensive I wasn’t sure but if they are good then I will.

I’ve never worn nail varnish (work in healthcare so can’t wear it) but have felt quite tempted by the black/dark red nail varnish worn by Jenna Ortega on Wednesday. I may do it -
for the first time ever, at 40 - for the Christmas party season.

Dark red with the ring finger on each hand green. Those in the know will get it 😉.
