What colours are your Christmas nails going to be?

If you’re getting them! I have just done a nail tech course and hoping to earn a little bit extra this Christmas and beyond and I’m wondering what colours to buy. I’ve got a shimmery red and a glittery green. I’m looking at a silver and a gold glitter too. Any others you are tempted by that I could buy to get people tempted to get their nails done this Christmas.

I was going to do a scarlet red but have just broken my index finger nail so it’s really really short now and all my others are much longer 😭 I’m going to have to cut them all down short now. Hopefully it will look nice still, I have tiny nail beds so won’t have much nail to work with!

I think I'll do red with a glitter on one finger. I do my own nails so will enjoy playing with colours all through December

My Christmas jumper is sparkly navy and pinks so I’m thinking of doing a navy holo to match or a fuchsia pink (which I think is a Chinese new year colour from a very old OPI range.

I paint my own nails, and tend to do deep burgundy shimmer, red shimmery or glittery, or dark red for Christmas. Mostly Essie, sometimes OPI.

I'm looking to buy a deep purple shimmer, and a forest green glitter polish too.

Absolutely no glitter and all nails the same colour.

A true Scarlett Red, or a Bordeaux Red or Rouge Noir.

I’m not your standard customer, because for me it’s french tips, or nude/pink all year round. I hate red nails, glitter etc.

@Itstheimplication argh me too! My right middle finger nail broke today and the rest have a decent bit of length which I really need as I too have miniature nail beds

I had my nails done yesterday.

I’ll paint mine a favourite non-sparkly gold, which I wear a lot anyway. No gels or acrylics for me.

That’s if I have time. Otherwise they’ll be carrot and red cabbage stained!

How long was the course?

Nothing….. the joys of nursing!

The nail course is as long as you make it. I did it online and it takes as long as you want it to. You had to do case studies within 3 (?) months.
