Wearing hats in office setting

I'm sure this will come back as I am being unreasonable but I want to ask this question: if you work in an office setting do coworkers wear hats? We have a fairly new employee who wears a black fedora every day. Most times it doesn't match her outfit so I don't think it is a fashion statement. Her hair was on display when she interviewed so it isn't as though she is covering what she may feel is an imperfection. Although it shouldn't because it does not affect me, it bothers me.

I know someone who permanently wears a beret because she hates her hair. Even in the height of summer. Confused

Here are some details about hat wearing amongst the Orthodox:

Sounds cute. What does she pair the look with?

A single white glittery glove.

I need a 😂button for this.

Maybe she was wearing a wig to the interview. Or maybe she'd taken two solid hours to get her hair to a state she was happy with for interview. Maybe she'd just come out of the hairdresser having had her roots done, and has now decided to take the plunge and grow them out. She might come in in six weeks time with no hat and a short silver crop.

I'm of the opinion that fedora's go with nothing, so the lack of matching wouldn't be strike me as odd either!

Indiana Jones is going to disagree 😛
