Delivery driver just came over full of apologies as he delivered our parcel to the wrong house. He went back immediately and took it from them. They're about 20 doors up.

The woman had physically signed his pad with our name from the parcel label, took it in and opened it up.

Delivery driver said she was angry when he asked for it back but did give it over saying everything was in it still.

Not really thrilled at receiving my baby's first christmas gifts after they've been went through by someone and not entirely chuffed that she's basically committed fraud. I'd like to ask her why she did it but I know in reality that's going to get me nowhere is it?

The delivery drivers haven't asked for signatures post covid around here and pre covid it was always just a random squiggle as the screens are crap.

I don't know who's lying about the neighbour signing OPs name but it's bollocks isn't it

We've been asked to finger squiggle sign the tablet for one delivery company for a few months now.

My pizza got delivered to the wrong house number once - they accepted delivery and ate it

I'd be sending her a leaky box full of glitter.

A neighbour of mine bought a very expensive sewing machine. It got delivered to another neighbour whom neighbour no.1 didn't have anything to do with. Neighbour 1 waited for ages for it to be delivered ( from Germany) not realising it had gone to the wrong address. In the end she contacted the company and they discovered where it had been left. She went and knocked on the door, the other neighbour denied all knowledge. She argued with him but he wouldn't budge so she left. As she walked away, she happened to glance in his window. The sewing machine was sitting on a table, all set up to be used. She knocked the door again and told him that if she didn't return it immediately she'd call the police. He couldn't deny it then!
Also had another neighbour who ordered a birthday cake to be delivered. She wasn't in, so it was left with another neighbour, who then denied ever having it. On bin day, the neighbour who ordered it found the packaging in the other neighbours bin....

O my god if someone ate my pizza I'd be livid 😄 that would definitely be unforgivable

She'd probably sweep it up and keep it!

I honestly don't know how people have the balls. If I haven't collected my bin back in before noon on bin day I feel the pressure, never mind blatantly nicking a neighbour's post.
