So...I'm on OLD.
Bloke messaged me,,,he's in a 12 year relationship.There's no sex apparently.
GF owns the house, he can't afford to get a place of his own.
He's after no strings sex, GF apparently endorsing it.
Is this the MOST ick ever?!

That is pretty ick, but also, I've had similar levels of ick where the potential dater thinks you will be enchanted by hearing about how cold, boring and fat his current partner is. For example:

"I'm in a relationship, but there isn't much spark. Looking for someone who can remind me how great it feels to be young."

Or the "couples" where the woman approaches me for a threesome, and thinks the most compelling part of the argument is how this has always been a fantasy of her husband/boyfriend and how happy I'd be making him.

I always want to reply "Yeah, I'm not a make-a-wish foundation for porn-addled straight dudes. Thanks but no thanks".

im currently ‘rebounding’ after a 2 year friendship became intimate but not sexually so and he freaked the fuck out when I stated what o wanted and needed. He’s single so no partner to explain the freak out. Today wants me again.

so I’m doing the totally mature thing of talking to other men to fluff my feathers a bit but… god.

Rejection is hard.

2 yr long bloke couldn’t have been clearer in his intent. Dismissed it all, 2 yrs of conversations etc with a callous phrase.

so… fluffing my feathers and feeling awesome helps. Not about to go jump on any of them but I still have interest despite being fat.

filling the void with friends though. Only way to do it.
