Bottle of squirty cream put back in the fridge, open fridge door squirty cream is laying in or on top of a small dish of pomegranate so has pomegranete juice on and bottle is in the dish. Is this an issue? Would you be cross irritated angry or is it a non issue? You didn't put it there wwyd? Genuine question

Sounds like you're living with a lazy person, who is sloppy with things and you're expected to keep cleaning up after them? It would annoy me too. Why not put things back properly?

I wouldn't think anything of it. I might mention to the person who last used it that it needed a wipe the next time they got it out.

I wouldn't want anything in my pomegranate, I so would have put it in something with a lid. If something did get on the can of cream I'd rinse and dry it.

agree it’s a non issue. Wipe it up.

I'd be irritated that the pomegranate was effectively contaminated by the dirty outside of the cream tin.

I'd be irritated with myself for failing to cover the pomegranate properly, and someone else for being clumsy with the cream!

I'd say nothing at all, because it's a minor problem.

I would take the bottle out of the dish, clean it if necessary and then get on with my life

There are strict rules about squirty cream in our house. Nozzle must be throughly rinsed under warm tap by the consumer or it goes mouldy. And clear cap is not put back on, it's only needed while on display in the shop to show the nozzle is clean for the first use.

We never have pomegranate in our fridge though so I cant advise about that, unless maybe rinse the whole squirty thing when the nozzle is rinsed?

I would think just be grateful you can fill your fridge with little extras like pomegranate and squirty cream and enjoy the rest of your evening

I’m guessing the OP has had to listen to someone rant about this happening and it’s one in a string of incidents making her question her relationship.

OP, this wouldn’t be an issue in my house, and the person who found it would just rinse the can and place it somewhere more secure.

Nasty squirt cream would not be allowed inside the front door though.
