Can anybody explain to me WHY the little drain thing for the filter pump is located so ridiculously low to the ground? I have just accessed this helpful tip from my manufacturer's website.

Step 6: Place a suitable bowl below the drain pump access to collect the water that flows out.

Considering the drain pump access is about 5mm from the ground, where can I get one of these magic gravity defying bowls?

They include a helpful illustration of a miniscule tray, which would have to be emptied approximately 93y7973897987 times during the draining process.

Why? WHY?

I use a tiny thin melamine tray for just drinks... works like a dream. But I put a washing up bowl beside it on the floor so I only have to slosh it up and in the bowl in one quick move rather than slop it all over the floor with trembly hands as I gingerly tiptoe across the floor! This is not it but similar size www.amazon.co.uk/Large-Thin-White-Plastic-Catering/dp/B003XV3M1W

I tip the washer back and shove a piece of wood underneath. My trays are too deep otherwise and the bloody machine is always full when it goes wrong. There was a face mask stuck in the filter last time. Also, open the filter plug slowly and release the water a bit at a time.

Even worse in our house. It's integrated so we have to remove the whole 4 m long plinth to get T the drain 😂

Me too! 🤦🏼‍♀️
