To be annoyed with the idiots blocking me in?

I live at the end of a terrace, its a dead end, and two people visiting the very very end house, that has no parking space of its own, have parked next to each other across the end of my driveway.

I want to go out, but i can't get my car out, and i dont want to go ask them to move because i think they're clearing the house as the owner passed away a few weeks ago.. so its probably family and i dont want to intrude on what may be an emotional process for them

GRRRRR.... why can't people find somewhere to park that doesn't block the neighbours in!!!

i would ask but be tactful and polite but obviously you are or you wouldn't be pondering on what to do

They should not park across a dropped kerb, and you are not being unreasonable or insensitive to ask them to move.
FWIW we used to get people park outside (not across the drive but close enough, or right opposite so I couldn't get out in one go) for 2 weeks while they flew out of gatwick.

i'm sitting eating my lunch and hoping that by the time i've eaten and got DS sorted that they'll have gone.

oh.. and venting here so if i do have to go ask, i'll have got rid of my irritation.
