Do you pay attention to your neighbours parcels/take aways

I do get a lot of parcels delivered as I don't drive and often they are split into multiple orders. But nothing crazy like daily orders etc. I get my shopping delivered too.

Do neighbours pay attention to this?

I rarely ever get take aways but a neighbour commented on me getting one

I do have a few neighbours in the street who don't work and seem to watch the street slot

I have a creepy neighbour who does this. He's tried to take my packages before when I'm in and there's no need.
If I get a proper food shop delivery he goes to stand by his car so he can see into my house.

Only when the prime van arrives and I realise its not mine this time.

I notice all the junk food and deliveries a couple of neighbours eat. I dread to think how much it costs them.

No. And I work exclusively from home and DH is a SAHD so we're prime for curtain twitching.

I couldn't care less really what the neighbours are getting up to so long as it's not loud!

ThreeblackCats · 16/11/2022 14:12

No, because I actually have a life…but I know some people just love being involved where they are not wanted or needed!

I'm another one who always seems to be in to take in parcels so the only parcels not left are mine if I have the nerve to leave the house.

My neighbours get a lot of deliveries - several a day usually.

I'm not a stalker but the vans usually park outside my house to deliver to my neighbours. I used to get excited thinking I was about to have a lovely, surprise delivery but I now know to expect it to be for them not me. I'm just the parking spot.

Other than thinking, they have quite a lot of deliveries, I really don't give it any thought.

No, I take absolutely no notice of anything to do with my neighbours (who are nice), unless they want me to; I have occasionally taken in a parcel for them but that is rare. I have lots of deliveries and the only people who might notice are those who live opposite, if they are sitting at the front of their houses, and I don't know them anyway.

I notice as i work from home and the delivery guys know im happy to take parcels for neighbours. (I dont mind at all)

I dont think anything of it though i also get a lot of deliveries and probably have take ways more often than average.

Yes I notice all the parcels, and takeaways my neighbour has, because you have to go past my home to get to theirs. I must admit that I do think that they have an awful lot of takeaways. But then it is not my concern if they want to live on takeaways.
