Ok hear me out, I'm aware I sound like a teenager
At the swimming pool last week, a man I've noticed before but never spoken to was swimming in the same part of the pool as me. Everyone swims lengths, it's an adults only pool for serious swimmers. At one point he swam a bit too close and kicked me, not hard. I thought nothing of it, carried on swimming. After a minute or two he when we both reach the end of the pool he came over to me and said sorry about that, and proceeded to start a conversation about it. I said there was no need to apologise, it happens, we were very nice to each other, smiling, and then I continued swimming. After a couple more lengths I was finished so about to get out. He came up to the end of the pool and I said to him he was welcome to have my lane if he wanted it. We then proceeded to talk for about 10 minutes which ended in him introducing himself to me and shaking my hand. As I got out of the pool, his friend, who was sitting in one of the Jacuzzis near the entrance, gave me a look and smiled. Is this something? I really got a "feeling" from this man. Maybe he's just friendly. But there was no need to apologise in the first place, and it seemed like he really wanted to talk. Thoughts? Be harsh, I can take it!
