Hello,
I am not a particularly tidy or well organised person but I generally know where my stuff is:
I have a small ofice space which is full of work related stuff as I often WFH and we have a workshop space with more storage where I have a few shelves but OH uses it more than I do
All the household paperwork and important documents are in the workshop on shelves: In labelled files:
OH needs a document for this coming Friday: I say "it's in the file", but the file is not on the shelf where it should be (in the workshop):
I know that he used the file while I was away back in August, but just to be absolutely certain I cleared my desk and I definitely don't have the file in my WFH office:
OH swears he doesn't have it:
So while he was out yesterday I went through his side of the shared workshop space: and found the file hiding under something of his in a place only he would have put it:
so AIBU to continue asking him if he has looked for the file and reminding him that I have looked exhaustively and I do not have the documents?
Latest exchange was five minutes ago, in the shared space and I can actually see the file on his shelf behind him while he is swearing that he does not have it and I must have it because he would never have put it anywhere:
