I love playing scrabble, and have nobody to play against in the country where I live.
I was so pleased to play scrabble on online and initially had some great games, especially when you could play a full ‘speed’ game.
Now I find that I never seem to get games against real people, only against bots. Am I doing something wrong in my settings?
AIBU to just want a game against a real person for my €5 per month subscription?

I play on Scrabble Go and have found an awesome community of Scrabble friends. Are you using Scrabble Go?

Ashen you say a speed game what sort of time?

What platform are you using? I use ISC. Do you think you are getting blocked by other players?

If you are playing scrabblego I can message you my username if you’d like a game? I love scrabble too and am lucky that I get to play my parents regularly in real life.

Hello people, thanks for your comments and offer of a game! I was on scrabble go but have cancelled my subscription now. For me it got too frustrating for various reasons. Will be having a look at RSC to see what that’s like. Thanks for the tip.

I don’t think I was being blocked, but maybe? I did find that when starting a game, people ducked out. I had a ScrabbleGo rating of 26 and seemed to find very few real players with a similar ‘rating’

Lucky you, my mum is a great player, but lives in another country, and does not want to play online ☹️

The speed game was on Scrabble, before it changed to Scrabble go!

I play words with friends and would be happy to play with anyone who will not just disappear after 2 days!

Tedious, aren’t they, Diego? The giveaway tends to be that they have a really low average word score.

Yes I know! I was at the end stages of one game, could see that the Q still hadn’t been played, so set myself up for a QI triple. Opponent had the Q and didn’t spot it. Will check out average word score, good tip.

I still don’t know what all the prizes and rewards are for!
