Evri - Stealing Deliveries??

So far this year, a pair of shoes, a skincare product, a Zara parcel and now some makeup have not been delivered to me by Evri. Even after putting in a complaint about my Courier, as it is at this point that the delivery fails, nothing is ever done.
As retailers choose who they use as a courier I have no control. Anyone else found their Evri deliveries go missing after they have been received by the Evri handler?

I've had it a few times but always been reimbursed by the company with a replacement sent. Have they not done this?

I sent a gazebo back to Amazon, had to use Evri. It went missing and was never found. Amazon refunded me the money.

The companies should reimburse or replace the items - your contract is with them, they can take it up with the courier.

Yes they have reimbursed but it makes me so angry that the Evri couriers get all this free stuff knowing that they cannot be held accountable for it. 😡

Before when they were Hermes, my Son went to work there as a driver. His first day he was sent all over London, just to do a couple of deliveries, which went ok. He wasn’t asked to see driving licence. Next day he worked in the warehouse where he lasted 1 day. Parcels were thrown about, he couldn’t believe the people he was working with, most were stoned and taking drugs in front of everyone. We had a great local driver for years, who really went out of his way to get deliveries to people, we had his mobile number, he was an awful driver though, but suddenly he left and we never knew why. My DH caught 2 men going round on a bike last week, clearly looking on peoples doorstep, he told them to clear off or he’d call the police.

I've had this several times with the royal mail and parcel force!
The royal mail opened up my parcel, took my razors and then taped the parcel back up.
I received a parcel from parcel force yesterday and someone had ripped open the box and decided that they didn't like the contents of the box. I was lucky as it was an Oka bed spread.
I've had so many bad experiences with these delivery companies.

Same. The last SIX things I have ordered have just not turned up. Some were high end brands and I was astounded they’d use the shitcunts that is Evri.
