Mean supply teacher

More of a WWYD…

DD is in Year 2. This week, she’s had a supply teacher who has apparently shouted at the kids, including at one little boy for making a mistake with his maths, and he ended up in tears.

Several other kids have said the same, so it’s not just DD!

Would you say something to school? It’s an extremely lovely school with very positive and kind teachers so this has been a new experience for everyone!

Or is it just one of those things?

No wonder we have a generation of wet wipes.

If kids say the teacher 'shouted' then usually they didn't, the term is massively overused.

And just because other kids said it doesn't mean it's true. You sound like you have too much time on your hands op.

The replies on this thread are digusting, it's no wonder teachers are leaving the profession in their droves. This thread is very mean spirited and dripping with hatred towards teachers.

I was a support teacher and was shocked to see a cover teacher sent home after she told another pupil she would phone his new school about his behaviour.

No wonder society is in such a mess with all of these parents believing every word their kids say! Supply teachers rely on good feedback to get more work. It’s extremely unlikely they’ll all be shouting at kids! Much more likely that the kids are massively exaggerating!
