I'm a student nurse and work 3 long days as a studentnurse. Dc has nursery booked for 4 days 9-3. I have no work today. Planning on a family day out on Sat and Sun. Aibu to send her in today so I can study/relax?
I feel serious mum guilt. If I don't do the uni work now I'll need to do it this evening.

I've sent mine in so I can have a coffee in peace see a friend for lunch and do some house work maybe

He'll have much more fun than being strapped in a Highchair, watching me hoover and being bored! X

Strapped in a High chair out for lunch not while I hoover just to clarify lol

I occasionally take a day off while DC are in school/at childcare and I feel no guilt whatsoever. I use it to catch up on my uni work (I'm doing an apprenticeship on top of working FT) or just to relax and do fuck all. It's brilliant for me and does them no harm.

Definitely send her, DD dose a day each week more then we need for work purposes. She has a lovely time with her friends instead of loitering in front of TV while I try to get the house/jobs sorted, and then the days I do spend with her can be focused on doing fun stuff together, as all the jobs have been done in half the time because I've been able to get on with it uninterrupted.
