I have a lot of feminine health problems and have booked a private blood test as I want to check my hormone levels and getting a gp appointment is basically impossible. its not too expensive thankfully and it will check the main sex hormones including prolactin. I managed to get a cancellation appointment for tomorrow and it seems to be a reputable company (Randox health)
the results will take 2 working days and I've just realised its the weekend tomorrow. with my appointment tomorrow, will the results still be valid if they aren't tested until after the weekend? I've heard before the some blood tests are time sensitive and have to be tested quickly after collecting the blood or they will spoil, but I wasn't sure if this was the case for prolactin and sex hormones.
