Costco Item Limits (posting for traffic)!

IABU as i'm posting for traffic...sorry!

I have a question......some items in Costco have purchase limits, like you can only buy 3 of a specific toy.

I have 4 kids I need to buy for.

Does anyone know if I can buy 3, go take them to my car, then come back in and buy another 1? Or does it show up on my membership card I've maxed out my purchases of that item and therefore can't buy anymore?

Just asking as if I can't buy 4 I won't buy any.

It will tie into your membership card

But if the limit is 3, just ask and see if they can accommodate. Or ask another member to put it through if you know anyone

When they had a limit on bags of nappies, they told us to put one bag through on my card and the second bag on dh's. I'm the account holder and he's got the second card linked to mine. He'd picked them off the shelf whilst I was getting other stuff and hadn't read the shelf label. Do you have a partner with another card linked to yours?

Earlier this year. Spring maybe? Maybe the guy on the checkout did something then as it was his suggestion. I was just going to put one back when he asked if we both had cards.

Thank you for the replies.....I'm the second card holder in my husband's trade account so we will pop along this weekend and see if we can simultaneously check out 2 each on separate tills! Failing that I will see if I can nab a friend or college!
