I love AIBU, way more entertaining than social media or a newspaper. But why do so many posters ask for advice with the barest of information in the OP, refuse to answer any follow up questions and then get mad? AIBU to think that if your scenario is so outing that you can’t give a coherent account of the problem or answer basic follow up questions you probably shouldn’t be asking for advice in the first instance?
For example, if I ask “AIBU to be furious that DS’s school won’t allow me to drop him off at the school gates early?” but then refuse to answer exactly how early I’m trying to drop DS off.
Or maybe I’ve just spent way too long in the halls of AIBU and I’ve become overly critical.
I’m not referring to any specific posts (so this isn’t a TAAT) or a specific person.
