I bought something which arrived today and the packaging is terrible and the item is completely ruined (it's a celebrity signed autograph for my sons birthday).

I've complained and they've offered me a partial refund.

I've not accepted.

They've sent me another message saying they will refund me the full amount if I send it back.

What do I do now? Decline the refund of the partial amount? Can I put in another request for the full amount?

Send it back for a full refund. No point accepting a partial refund and keeping an item that you describe as ruined. A partial refund means you have still paid money for a ruined item.

You have to send it back to get a refund. Make sure you send it signed for though otherwise they can day they didn't get it

Open a return on ebay so they can send you a label and will be tracked through the return section

Open a case on Ebay as item not described. The seller then has to provide you with a returns label and you will receive a full refund when you return the item. You don't need to engage with the seller at all, just follow the eBay returns process.

Send it back for the refund they've offered.

Unless you want to keep it for the reduced price, in which case you accept the partial refund offered.
