To work one hour while on sick leave

I'm depressed and have taken today and will also take tomorrow off work. I'm wondering if I'm unreasonable to do one meeting because it's a case I have had a lot of involvement in, lots of people are coming to the meeting, it's not easy to reschedule, and I'll have to reschedule asap. It's online so I can get out of bed, focus for an hour, then collapse.

I am capable of focusing and acting happy for one hour but I can't focus for an entire day. My concentration is shit, I'm exhausted, I spent most of today in bed. I self referred to IAPT two months ago but still waiting on any kind of therapeutic intervention. I have asked my GP for a meds review (I have had a diagnosis of bipolar for 16 years).

You are being unreasonable: you're off sick, you shouldn't work
You are NOT being unreasonable: if you feel well enough, do the one meeting

I often find that it is less stressful to work for one hour as you describe, than the pain of rescheduling. If you are comfortable, then I would say go ahead.

As it happened, I didn't feel up to doing the meeting this morning so I cancelled it.
