I just keep reporting them - their username is a bit of a giveaway! They must have an incredibly boring life to have nothing better to go than resurrect 10 year old threads on MN.

Maybe it's shows more clearly on your device but again...I think a lot of people react to the post content, not the detail in the page /post format

Funnily enough, yes. And the OP's updates. So I don't get sucked into a zombie thread, repeat what the first 509 posters have or miss something OP has said that changes the point / tone of a thread.
