HRT how long to work?

I’m currently going through the process of suitably for hrt. I have high blood pressure so just starting meds to reduce that. If all I’m in 3 weeks I’ll get estrogen gel (for arm or thigh) (and a vaginal estrogen tablet as sec painful)
I am really struggling with aches pains and low mood/irritable. If anyone else has had HRT of this kind how long has it taken to work? Im really feeling awful.

Took about 2-3 weeks for my aches and low mood to ease. It didn't happen overnight and I just felt better and better over the next 3 months or so. Feel v content now on HRT (a year in)

It takes a few months, and can take a while to find the best dosage for you. Tbh oestrogen/progesterone along hasn't helped with my aching joints, so I now have a prescription for testosterone too.
