Just that really. What is the meaning behind/origin of your username?
I’ll go first: mine is based on the name of a holiday home I visited many years ago now.

I have a handful of user names that I alternate. This one is a tribute to Joan Crawford's scathing letter about Bette Davis, to Bob (Robert Aldrich) who Directed What Ever Happened to Baby Jane.

I have always thought that her opening line 'Bob Dear' was so much more effective and sharp, than the traditional 'Dear Bob'.

Boring but it is a derived from my name.

QuantumWeatherButterfly · 10/11/2022 22:10

This one is from Terry Pratchett - fist bumps @EsmeGythaMagrat

I'm due a name change really, but I'm quite attached to this one. When I get around to a new one, it will be from another much loved (by me) book.

worriedstmw · 10/11/2022 22:24

The terrible state of maternity services in the UK.

I nc often and it's usually just something random.

carameldecaflatte · 11/11/2022 07:55

My favourite drink.
That I can't stomach any more after it triggered my first ever gallbladder attack when I was pregnant 14 years ago!

Butterlover1 · 11/11/2022 08:06

Shayisgreat · 11/11/2022 08:26

My son, Shay, is great and I felt everyone should know!

FannyGotobed · 11/11/2022 08:32

I’ve namechanged many times over the years but think I may stick with this one now.
I've been researching my family tree and this is actually one of my distant relatives. It made me laugh and immediately thought it would be a good MN username.

AliceAbsolum · 11/11/2022 09:19

The girl and the caterpillar from Alice in Wonderland.

KitchiHuritAngeni · 10/11/2022 21:03

Names I call my kids.

Brave

Beautiful

Angel

@KitchiHuritAngeni - because I'm a bit of a languages geek, I googled the origin of those three names (one is actually my partner's nickname, or nearly!).

Are you Native American? (Although I read the other day that folk actually prefer 'Indian', which is the interesting)

DailyMailHater · 11/11/2022 21:31

Ummm….think mine is self explanatory

Onnabugeisha · 11/11/2022 21:47

Reallycomplicatedpants · 12/11/2022 07:12

It's a line from a Victoria Wood sketch, when she's playing a mysterious Russian spy on the London Eye. Roger Moore propositions her so she warns him about her underwear arrangement.

MavisChunch29 · 12/11/2022 07:16

No meaning whatsoever.

MavisChunch29 · 12/11/2022 07:20

Well, except that it sounds like it could be a Diane Morgan character.

rustcohlesmug · 13/11/2022 15:55
