DH asked for eggs with some other bits so he could cook.
I ordered them from co op. Anyway he's cooking now and he's taken my Burford browns. AIBU to say he should leave mine alone and crack on with the co op free range ones?

His excuse he saw them and they looked better and I can get some another time. But he isn't actually going to go to the shops for them.

In my defence I do share them with my toddler.

I don't know what a Burford egg is, well I know it's an egg but that's it. I don't know if that makes it better or worse but LTB seems to be standard advice on here so LTB.

It's just that he doesn't care what eggs he has so why have my special ones.

He'd never go out and buy them but if he sees something he likes in the cupboard he just has it

I have my own eggs, the golden yolk ones. Burford Browns at Christmas. Regular eggs will do for my partner!

I actually have my own cupboard of things that are specifically for me (including eggs), because if I don't, it all gets eaten before I even get a look in. DH can have things from there providing he mentions first as otherwise I could be intending to have it later that day etc. I would be v. unhappy if my eggs were used!

Help yourself to co-op ones for mixing up the yolk and over-cooking in the frying pan.

I favour the veg drawer in the fridge for my special chocolate, as DH never goes there.

I only buy nice eggs, local from honesty boxes or Burford's, DH probably couldn't tell the difference, but I wouldn't buy two different types of egg! Just but the ones you like in enough quantity for you all. This is share house thinking.
