What is this on my dd's ear??

My dd got her ears pierced 2 years ago but after a few months got an infection in one lobe. I was worried that an earring back (small plastic/rubber back) had got stuck in her ear but doctor had checked and said it was just an infection. After a week or so when inflammation went down I could definitely feel something hard so went to hospital and they finally found it, made a small cut and removed it.

We let the ears close up and then about 6 months ago she asked to get them pierced again. The same lobe gets irritated every so often and would puss a little. But today I was checking her ears and seen that there now seems to be puss/blood coming from the original piercing? Any advice? Thanks

Steroid cream should sort it out but I think if she’s young maybe see a doctor first?

im not a doctor btw but I am pierced to fuck

for future ref do not let infected piercings close up, always keep jewellery in them until the infection is completely gone

TCP four times a day. Twist the earring so it doesn’t scab over. Use a hypoallergenic earring, that one doesn’t look hypoallergenic.

Hi there
Sorry I know its an old thread, just wondered what your outcome was for this. My 12 yr old dd ears are like this for both lobes. Thanks
