Passport help

Trying to renew my passport. I need to send off my marriage certificate to confirm name change. At the time I remember buying extra copies. All of the certificates say, " certified copy of an entry of marriage."
Can I use this to send off?
I'm sorry if it sounds stupid I'm unsure if it means it's a copy of the cert or copy as in a record of the day.

All of the certificates you take home are certified copies as the original is the one one the register.
